On the bench

Rules waiting to be tested. Each gets the same treatment: replicate the claim, then stress it.

  • Dogs of the DowBuy the 10 highest-yielding Dow stocks every January.
  • Copy CongressMirror disclosed trades by members of Congress, 45 days late.
  • Sell in MayHold stocks November–April, cash May–October.
  • NIFTYBEES / GOLDBEESThe ratio-breakout rule that runs etfratios.com.

How we test

Each rule is rebuilt from the original post, run on split- and dividend-adjusted daily closes, and compared with the obvious alternatives over the same dates and timing. We report the viral window and the long history, the effect of one-day-later execution and costs, and the caveats that come with a hindsight-picked universe.

Once a strategy is live, its record starts on launch day and is never edited. Signals go out by email once a month, after the close.
